Freeman Field

The Public Works Department is responsible for the airport, Freeman Field, but it is managed by Kansas Air Center and can be contacted 7 days a week, 8 am to 5 pm, at 785-238-1991.

The services provided are maintenance on airplanes and refueling. They also have a covered tie down and provide a courtesy car for pilots. For after hours fueling contact 888-462-1991. 

Runways

Freeman Field consists of three runways:

• Asphalt Runway -3,500-feet by 75-feet with a heading of 18-36
• Grass Runway - 1,927-feet by 200-feet with a heading of 5-23
• Grass Runway - 1,915-feet by 140-feet with a heading of 13-31
